Who we are
We are a small, local business consisting of a friendly crew with extensive knowledge all round. Although Plymouth Marine Safari was only founded in 2022, our skippers have been taking people to sea and working with sharks for decades. It was only a few years ago that we realised the need to show people just how fantastic our marine life is here in the South West of England and noticed a gap in the market with no major wildlife watching businesses operating in Plymouth, UK.
Since we started up, we are proud to say that we are accredited WISE scheme operators promoting responsible wildlife-watching and have been awarded Trip Advisor’s travellers choice award for both 2024 and 2025. We are so passionate about sharing our knowledge of the marine life that we have here in the South of Devon, whether that be cetaceans, sharks or seabirds!
It’s a huge privilege to have the opportunity to show and teach people from all walks of life about the amazing species that can be found off of our coast line. We will always do our best to ensure you learn something new on every trip with us and our love for our local marine life is why we do what we do.
OUR BOAT
Crusader is a purpose built evolution 38 powered by a500hp low emission volvo engine. For your comfort she has ample seating inside the heated cabin, further seating on deck, hot water boiler, microwave and the essential Clean deck-entry toilet. Spacious, stable, and fast, Crusader is the perfect platform for wildlife watching and snorkelling.
